  Jax Refrigeration was contracted by a Home Warranty Co to install a brand new Lennox condenser in my parents home. They installed it so poorly that after 10 months and 4 "be-backs" later the unit still consistently freezes up. Each time Jax Refrigeration visited, post-installation, they found something that was done negligently the prior visit. In addition to charging my parents for each one of these visits, they were even sold a $140 thermostat that was later determined to have been unnecessary. I spoke directly to Lennox, the manufacturer, and they advised me that second to best practices, Jax Refrigeration should honor a 12 month labor warranty but they cannot make them do so. I spoke to Mark, who is in charge of service, and he told me that because Jax Refrigeration only installed the unit he had no interest in warranting it. Now mind you, that the unit comes with a 5 year parts warranty from the manufacturer...all he had to do was warrant his workmanship. No...he would not. This company is unethical, dishonest and my parents have had to learn the hard way. Be cautious and please do a better job vetting the company that you choose.
